Terms & Use
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Welcome to oly.ad ("Service", "we", "us" or "our"). By using oly.ad you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
oly.ad lets you create short links that redirect visitors to other websites, and tools around them: QR codes, smart links (different destinations by device, operating system, country or time), UTM tags, tags for organising links, privacy links (password, click limit, expiry date), click statistics, webhooks that notify other services when a link is opened, landing pages and forms hosted on oly.ad, a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox and an API for your own scripts and integrations.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
2. Accounts
You need an account to create and manage links, landing pages and forms. You can sign up with an email address and password (the email must be confirmed) or with a Google account.
You must give accurate information, keep your password secure and not share your account. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account. This immediately and permanently deletes your links, statistics, landing pages, forms, form responses and saved settings, and your short links stop working.
3. Acceptable use
You are responsible for every short link, landing page and form you create and for the content they lead to. You must not use oly.ad to:
- link to, host or distribute illegal content;
- distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware or other harmful software;
- run phishing, fraud, scams or identity theft;
- collect passwords, payment card data or other credentials through forms or landing pages;
- impersonate another person, company or organisation;
- send spam or unsolicited advertising;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks or other rights;
- hide or disguise a link's real destination in order to deceive people;
- get around security measures or access restrictions;
- attack, overload or disrupt oly.ad or other systems — including with webhooks sent to addresses you are not allowed to use — or use automated means to abuse the Service;
- break any applicable law.
4. Links, landing pages and forms
A short link does not mean that we have checked, verified or endorse the destination. We do not control the websites links point to.
New and changed destination URLs are checked automatically with Google Safe Browsing, and existing links may be re-checked later. Links flagged as dangerous can be refused or disabled automatically.
If you password-protect a link, limit its clicks or give it an expiry date, it stops working accordingly. Keep in mind that a password only protects the redirect: anyone who has the password can share it.
If you publish a form, you are responsible for the data people send through it: tell respondents who you are and why you collect it, collect only what you need, answer their requests and delete responses you no longer need. You act as the data controller for form responses; we store them on your behalf.
If you set up a webhook, the visit details you choose are sent to the address you enter each time your links are opened. You are responsible for that address and for handling the data lawfully, including telling your visitors where their data goes. Webhooks that keep failing are paused automatically.
API keys and the browser extension let other software create links and read your recent links in your account. Keep keys secret: anyone who has a key can act with it. Every browser with the extension gets its own key. You can see, rename and delete keys, and disconnect browsers, in Profile → Connected apps & API keys. Everything created with a key is your content under these Terms, and the same limits apply.
5. Abuse reports and enforcement
Anyone can report a link, landing page or form at oly.ad/report. We review reports and may disable or delete content, without prior notice, when we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms, puts people at risk or must be removed by law. A disabled short link shows a notice instead of redirecting.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or are used for abuse or fraud.
6. Availability
We try to keep oly.ad fast and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, or that links will work forever. Links may stop working because of these Terms, security reasons, legal requirements, technical problems or changes to the Service. We are not responsible if a destination website changes, blocks access or disappears.
7. Intellectual property
The oly.ad name, website, software and design belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or commercially exploit them without permission, except where the law allows it.
You keep all rights to the content you add. You give us the limited permission needed to store, display and deliver it in order to run the Service.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data — including the data of people who click your links or fill in your forms — is described in our Privacy Policy & GDPR at oly.ad/gdpr and our Cookie Policy at oly.ad/cookies.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that it is suitable for a particular purpose, and we are not responsible for the content, security or practices of websites reached through short links.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, oly.ad and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, from short links or their destinations, from loss of links or data, or from interruptions or termination of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use oly.ad after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live.
13. Contact
